The short version
This website is run by Yaselle (Yasmin). We collect only what you choose to share with us: through the inquiry form, by email, or in a message on Instagram. Inquiries sent through the form are emailed to Yasmin so she can reply to you. Your information is not sold, it is not added to a mailing list, and form submissions are not stored in a database on this site.
Emails and messages
If you email Yasmin directly or message her on Instagram, we receive whatever you include, such as your name, contact details and the details of your event. We use it the same way as an inquiry: to reply to you and, if you book, to plan your wedding with you.
What the inquiry form collects
When you send an inquiry, the site receives:
- your names and email address (required)
- your phone number, wedding date, venue, guest count and the services you’re interested in, if you fill them in
- your message
- your IP address, which is used to stop spam and repeated automated submissions
We use it only to answer your inquiry and, if you book, to plan your wedding with you.
Who handles your information
The site relies on a few service providers. Each one handles only what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the website. Every page you load and every form you send passes through Vercel’s servers, which keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run and secure the service. Vercel’s privacy policy
- Resend delivers the form. When you press send, your inquiry is passed to Resend, which emails it to Yasmin. Resend keeps a record of the email it sent, including its contents, for a limited time for delivery and troubleshooting. Resend’s privacy policy
- Supabase stores the Journal articles and the sign-in for the site’s private editing area. Inquiry form submissions are not sent to or saved in Supabase. Supabase’s privacy policy
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being sent by a person rather than a bot. It looks at signals from your browser and usually needs nothing from you. Turnstile’s privacy policy
- Upstash counts how many messages come from each IP address so one sender can’t flood the form. Those counts expire on their own within a day. Upstash’s privacy policy
Once your inquiry reaches Yasmin’s inbox, it is kept with her business email for as long as it’s needed to work with you and to keep ordinary business records.
Cookies and analytics
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other sites. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. The only cookies the site sets are for Yasmin signing in to edit it.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us. The site is only served over an encrypted connection, and each service above is limited to what it needs. Still, no website, email or internet connection is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
The site links to Yasmin’s Instagram. Instagram is only contacted if you follow that link, and what happens there is covered by Instagram’s own policy.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing yasmin@yasellestudio.com. We’ll answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have further rights under local law, and we’ll honour them.
We do not sell your personal information.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning events. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Questions about it can go to yasmin@yasellestudio.com.
